Verizon Wireless has come up with the intentions to release a number of exciting devices from various cell phone manufacturing companies by the end of 2009. So, the Verizon customers, intended to buy a new cell phone, can start exploring these handsets to choose the best out of them.

The leading mobile carrier of United States has tied up with Blackberry to release the upcoming devices from the renowned manufacturers. First of all, the second generation Blackberry Storm will be released by Verizon Wireless somewhere in between September and October. Apart from this, the mobile carrier will also launch the Blackberry Tour, another awaited device of the year. The device is expected to bring some good features.

Next, Verizon Wireless will have Palm cell phones lined up for release in the coming months. Palm Pre is the Android based cell phone that is expected to hit the stores within next six months, obviously with the support form Verizon. Palm Cousin is another device in the list of Verizon that will be launched in the market soon.

According to the representatives of Verizon Wireless, the company is eying at the release of a number of Android based devices this year. Android is swiftly grabbing a significant market share and all popular mobile carriers are excited to accommodate Android based devices in their lists. It has also been mentioned by Verizon that Motorola handsets are going to be seen in the company’s portfolio once again.
