Verizon Wireless To Adopt Google Search Engine For Mobiles

The technology meets technology as two industrial giants, Verizon Wireless and Google, initiated their talks to join hands for the refinement of search process on mobile phones. If everything goes on right track, we may find our mobile sets facilitated with search services tagged by none other than Google.

With web searching finding its emergence on mobile phones, the association between these two prominent leaders is expected to add fuel to this popularizing concept. Though the talks are in their nascent stage, the wait for the big day is expected to get over in a couple of months.

Google has been declared the undisputed search service provider only after most renowned mobile carrier companies failed to divert their customers with their own search tools. Mobile users have become demanding and there demand is needed to be satisfied by brand names like Google.

The news, which first appeared in The Wall Street Journal, still awaits comments from the spokesperson of both the companies. But, there is a reason to believe the uniformity of this information. There have been constant efforts from most popular search engines, including Google, to grab the biggest pie of this booming market.

Barring Verizon Wireless, other mobile carrier companies are still in the thinking process to hold the hands of search service providers like Google. These companies face the fear of loosing impressive share of revenues, along with most confidential customer information to these search service providers.

However, Sprint acted earlier this year to accommodate Google search services in its mobiles. Thus, it is time to get ready to see another feather in the cap of Google, as it takes over the web search market on mobile phones as well.
