The celebrations of MWC are over and cell phone manufacturers like Samsung, Nokia and Motorola have started exposing their weapons for the year ahead. In this race, Nokia has declared the release date of its power-packed performer, dubbed N86. The cell phone with 8MP camera support will be available from July 22, 2009. Apart from a top-notch snapper, the cell phone also features 8GB of memory with micro SDHC card slot. OLED screen, Wi-Fi and GPS are other notable features of this device. Data roaming and voice capabilities are offered by HSDPA and GSM.
With a motive to aim at mid-budget users, Samsung has launched its S5600, which also walked on the ramp of MWC. Highlights of the cell phone include touch screen functionality offered by TouchWiz and 3G support. If experts are to be believed, the cell phone aims to compete with Cookie, the cell phone which acted as a winner for LG. There is no exact information about the prices and release date of Samsung S5600, though we expect to see it soon in the stores.
An imaging device, with mind-boggling quality standards is what seems to be on the list of Motorola. Though, the name of the device is not leaked, but its images are enough to trigger one’s interest. The big screen will have touch screen functionality and the device will also support a 5MP camera with features like Xenon flash as well as LED flash. Only time will tell the integrity of the shots captured for this unnamed device.
