T-Mobile myTouch to Appear in Stores from Next Month

T-Mobile introduced the first cell phone running on Android operating system in the September last year. The company is bringing another Android supported device in the form of myTouch 3G. It will be the version 1.5 of the operating system that will support T-Mobile myTouch, a slim device to hit the stores next month.

The cell phone is believed to be similar to HTC Magic in terms of functionality. A 3.2 inch display with touch screen functionality and HVGA resolution is accommodated by the cell phone. GSM, GPRS, EDGE along with UMTS will support the data capabilities of the device. In addition, one will appreciate the presence of GPS and Wi-Fi in this device.

Other highlights of the cell phone include a 3MP camera with auto focus feature. Connectivity is ensured by the features like Bluetooth and USB port. A powerful 528 Mhz CPU is also in the list to make it a capable device. The cell phone also supports 192 MB of RAM.

Another exclusive feature of the device is that it will come preinstalled with Sherpa application that will help the user of this device to find nearby cinemas, restaurants and other points of interest using GPS. Sherpa is a useful technology, as it keeps on record the previous searches made by you and then use these records to make a search efficient for the next time.

Available in colors like red, black and white, the cell phone will be available from July 8 at the price of US $199.99.
