T-Mobile Eyeing September 29 as Release Date of Android G2
Is September the chosen month for the release of T-Mobile G2, the successor of the revolutionary G1? At least, the leaked documents are indicating this to be true. The internal documents recently leaked on the web points September 29 to be the release date for the T-Mobile G2 or HTC Vision, if you know the device better with this name. However, no official confirmation has been received in this direction.
Interestingly, it is being speculated that T-Mobile G2 is the same device as HTC Vanguard, as the latter too has been long projected for release in September. More rumors saying that the device will be available for pre-order from the first week of September have also been posted on the web.
The Android based G2 promises HSPA+ speed as one of its main highlights. Besides, a powerful Qualcomm processor is another exciting feature the device is going to have. And of course, the device runs on Android 2.2 which indeed makes it an interesting device. The HTC Sense UI for the device has been revived to have many improved features. A number of T-Mobile applications too adorn the eagerly awaited device.
Whenever the T-Mobile G2 releases, it will face tough competition from the US version of Samsung Galaxy S which is performing extremely well. According to the latest reports, over 1 million Galaxies have been sold in 45 days through various carriers of the United States. Let’s wait for the face off between the two Android powered devices.
