Sony Ericsson Uncovers S312 and W205 – Both for Mid-range Buyers
Sony Ericsson targets the lower midrange with its two new cell phones, titled S312 and W205. While the former has some useful camera features, the latter is coming to the market as most affordable walkman device till date.
Sony Ericsson S312 is the cell phone which accommodates a 2MP camera. This bar form factor design has two keys, one for the camera and other for video recording. The cell phone permits low-light shooting with the help of LED flash included in the design. There are as many as four photo shortcuts included on the keyboard to facilitate the user.
The cell phone supports GSM, GPRS and EDGE, while 3G is missing. FM radio and stereo Bluetooth are other good to mention features of this device. Track ID and a 2 inch screen are also featured by S312. It is expected to get released by the end of quarter 2 in two different color variations of dawn blue and honey silver.
Sony Ericsson W205 is the walkman phone with 1.3 MP camera and video recording features. The walkman music player with Album Art is undoubtedly the highlight of this cell phone. FM radio, Bluetooth and Opera mini web browser are other good features of this device. The multi-person phonebook allows the multiple users to use this device, concealing private contacts from one another. The cell phone is expected to hit the market in the third quarter in eye-pleasing color of ambient black.
