Sony Ericsson Frances Gets Proper Name C903
Sony Ericsson displayed its interest in launching a cell phone, titled Frances few days ago. Since then, the rumors have been following this device. Finally, we have got the proper name for this cell phone. Sony Ericsson has dubbed it as Sony Ericsson C903. You can recall the introduction of new member of cyber-shot series from Sony Ericsson, called Filippa. C903 resembles this cyber-shot device in different aspects. However, it goes a step further in offering a GPS receiver.
The first month of 2009 has been flooded with the news of unannounced cell phones from different manufacturers, which are going to be revealed in different parts of the year. The latest news is about Sony Ericsson C903, the cell phone with Frances as the codename.
The cell phone will accommodate a 5 MP camera with some wonderful features. Photo Fix, Face Detection and Smile Shutter are some significant features of the image-shooter in this design. This cell phone will be available in slide form factor and will feature a 2.4 inch display with QVGA functionality. As mentioned above, the cell phone will also provide support to GPS functionality.
The cell phone will be available at a lower price tag than other devices in rivalry. This is the reason that it will miss out the facilities like Wi-Fi technology. MWC 2009 is the event chosen for announcement of this cell phone. One can expect the cell phone to be released by the end of Q2 of this year.
