Sony Ericsson Brings the First Handset with Transparent Display
Sony Ericsson is fast expanding its XPERIA family and here is limited but impressive information about another member of this family. Given the name of XPERIA Pureness, the cell phone has been revealed, though only partially, as the world’s first handset with transparent screen. The photos of Pureness released so far talks about the display to be unique and innovative.
The technology of transparent has been utilized by other manufacturers in the past, but it can be seen in its purest form with Sony Ericsson Pureness. Nokia Morph and LG GD900 Crystal are the examples, where transparent display elements were tried. However, the idea seems to have flourished in the form of new XPERIA member. Though, the screen is small and monochromic, still it carries the ability to impress with a luxurious appeal. The sleek design of the cell phone has also been reflected by the screenshots and it will add to the beauty of the device.
Some other good features are expected from Sony Ericsson Pureness, as it reveals more specifications with time. However, one won’t have to wait for long to see or purchase the device in real, as the manufacturer has decided to launch it in the coming November. Apart from Pureness, two other members of the XPERIA family are going to be released by the end of the year. First of the two devices is XPERIA X2 and the second one is X3, which has also been in news with the name of Rachael.
