Sony Ericsson Adds Value to PlayNow with Unlimited Download


Sony Ericsson has decided to introduce PlayNow Plus for its customers. The service, which will facilitate cell phone users as well as PC users, is going to facilitate unlimited download at much higher speed than existing one. The service will be introduced in different corners of the world, including United States, in first quarter of 2009.

In order to make this service more enthralling, the company has decided to launch a special series of Sony Ericsson W902 Walkman phones in the market. The renowned mobile manufacturing brand has managed to have collaboration with EMI, Sony BMG, Universal Music Group, Warner Music and other popular music brands. Also, a number of local music brands will also be included in the list to extend its reach.

The service will be capable of offering quality music listening as well as downloading on cell phones and computers. The huge database of music tracks will be maintained by the company to offer variety of genres to music lovers.

PlayNow plus community will also be launched, so that people with similar music tastes can discuss and exchange their thoughts and ideas about old and new tracks. Every PlayNow plus phone customer will be provided to as many as 1000 songs, from various local and international music groups.

The service will be capable of offering TrackID charts and other facilities to the users of cell phones endowed with it. The service is expected to add new dimensions to mobile music playing as well as music downloading at personal computers.
