Sony Ericsson Adding Mega Pixels to Latest Cell Phones

Sony Ericsson, the fourth largest cell phone manufacturing company is ready to flood the United States market with its mega pixel packed cell phones. As per the company representatives, the aim is to target the huge section of cell phone buyers, who are still not influenced by the brigade of smart phones.

The latest news from the company reveals that more than few devices are on the way, packing 8 mega pixels to 12 mega pixels of cameras. It could be the company’s preparation to participate in mega pixel war, but any such intentions are completely denied by the spokespersons from the company.

Intentionally or unintentionally, the introduction of so many cell phones, with improved mega pixel value, itself declares the war between different manufacturers. Recently, Samsung Memoir was released by T Mobile and it was the first cell phone released by a US carrier, having camera with 8MP value. Now, the Sony Ericsson C905, the new member of cyber-shot family, is all set to be released with an 8.1MP camera. You can expect the cell phone to be launched exclusively by AT&T or T-Mobile.

Sony Ericsson Idou was showcased at Mobile World Congress in February and is going to hit the stores in the second half of 2009. The impressive device packs a 12MP camera, along with other great features. LG is not far behind and is expected to release a 12MP camera phone by the end of this year. So, apart from the race between smart phones, another parallel competition is about to begin with mega pixel value as the basis.
