Nokia N900 Gets Official, Full of Applications and Stuff
Nokia World event is around the corner and one intelligent step has been taken by the numero uno cell phone manufacturer by officially announcing N900. Running on Linux-based Maemo 5 operating system and packed with ARM Cortex-A8 CPU, this N-series Nokia tablet is expected to acquire the rank similar to Symbian smart phones launched by the manufacturer in the market.
Wi-Fi and HSPA provides uninterrupted connectivity in the device, which accommodates 256MB RAM and excellent hardware graphics acceleration. The 3.5 inch WVGA touch screen can be customized with widgets, shortcuts and favorite applications. Apart from a physical QWERTY keypad, the cell phone device also features a virtual touch screen keyboard.
The support from Adobe Flash 9.4 enables spectacular views of videos and interactive applications. Mozilla web browser, TV-out and DivX/XviD video playback support are some other wonderful features on the list.
When it comes to other big highlights, you are sure to get attracted towards 32 GB memory support, with an additional expansion support of up to 48 GB. GPS support with Ovi Maps, FM and Bluetooth are other features to watch for.
Maemo software for photography and user interface for image tagging and video sharing are fabulous features of new Nokia N900. Last, but certainly not the least, the cell phone device accommodates a 5 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and video recording at 25fps.
Nokia N900 will have a grand launch in the month of October. And, we have some great reasons to eagerly wait for the big day.
