Nokia Introduces Four New Low Budget Handsets
Nokia is maintaining balance between luxurious and low-budget cell phones to keep on reaching all segments of the cell phone market. In the series of low-budget devices, the manufacturer is ready with as many as four new handsets. Though, coming up with basic functionality, these handsets are expected to find their share of users among those preferring small budget devices.
Nokia 1616 is the first device in the line and it features 128 x 160 pixels LCD display and LED flashlights. Exchangeable covers in various colors are other highlights of the handset. A 3.5 mm audio jack is also available in the device that appears in colors like blue, dark blue, dark red and dark gray. Nokia 1616 will hit the market during first quarter of 2010.
Nokia 1800 is the second device introduced by the manufacturer with LCD display, LED flashlights and many features similar to Nokia 1616. In addition, the device supports FM radio and is made up of recyclable material. Available in silver grey, black, orchid red and ash blue, the device will be available during Q2 of 2010.
Nokia 2690 is the next device in the series and it features VGA camera, FM radio, a 3.5 mm audio jack, along with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Internal memory of 8 GB and 1.8 inch LCD display are other highlights of the device. Graphite, white silver, hot pink and blue are the colors available for the device, expected to hit during Q1 next year.
Nokia 2220 slider is the last one in the lot and supports features like VGA camera, FM radio, EDGE and dual-band GSM. The device will hit the stores before the end of 2009 in colors like hot pink, graphite, turquoise, warm silver, purple and blue.
