Nokia Brings Two New Slider Phones
Nokia 6700 Slide and Nokia 7230 are the names of two new handsets in the slider form factor introduced by the manufacturer. Both devices are scheduled for their release in the first quarter of the next year. Some of the common features of the two devices include the support for 3G and social networking. However, they differ in terms of operating systems, as 6700 runs on Symbian, whereas 7230 gets S40.
Going down further in the specification list, Nokia 6700 supports a 5 MP camera, with features like LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics. Metal covers form another significant feature of the device. Image editing and a serious support for messaging can also be seen in the list for the device, which is expected to appear in the colors like pink, red, lime, petrol blue, purple and aluminum. GSM, 3G with HSDPA and HSUPA, Bluetooth, micro USB port and the memory space of up to 16 GB are other features to mention. In addition, a 2.2 inch screen with QVGA resolution is present in the cell phone that measures 95.2 x 46 x 15.9 mm and weighs 110 g.
Nokia 7230 has features, like a 2.4 inch screen with QVGA, a 3.2 MP camera and the support for Flickr and Facebook. GSM, tri-band 3G in two versions, a 3.5 mm audio jack and Nokia messaging are some other features to talk about. The cell phone will be available in color variations like graphite and pink.
