TouchFLO 3D, the popular user interface developed by HTC, is about to take a new birth with its version 2.6. The user interface has been one of the many wonderful features of HTC devices. Needless to say, it has contributed significantly in enhancing the utility of devices running on Windows Mobile platform. So, you can expect Windows Mobile 6.5 version and TouchFLO 3D 2.6 to enter the market at almost the same time and that calls for big news to be created.

The new version of TouchFLO 3D will be welcomed for offering more colors and utilities than before. The software has been previewed in the form of a video and it has certainly raised the expectations of the viewers. Full arrays of icons have been introduced for different tabs and applications. For instance, image gallery and music gallery browsing will have new icons in this latest version of TouchFLO 3D.

Internet tab, Home tab and People’s tab will contain many more icons and thumbnail shortcuts. The Calendar and the Weather tabs are other areas to receive modifications. Image gallery tab will have landscape mode, while Music player tab will have landscape album art browsing. So with few touches, the user will be able to access many more applications with the help of large shortcut icons. The vigorous colors of all new icons will render a wonderful overall look to the interface.

HTC Leo is going to be the first official device to have the new version of TouchFLO 3D 2.6.
