Motorola Announces two Wireless LAN based Smart Phones for Business Customers

Motorola, the company known for its treasure of cool-looking cell phones, has announced two smart phones, EWP1000 and EWR2000, which will hit the market next year. These handsets will work on wireless LAN technology and target the customers belonging to business class, along with retail and health care customers. The company has decided to serve the business customers with efficient wireless data and voice communication through these devices, so that they can easily enhance their customer services.

The products will also act as debutant devices for Total Enterprise and Access Mobility, the concept prepared by Motorola. Talking about other features installed in these two devices, there will be presence of Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, along with provision to access business servers with ease. Both these devices have been designed to withstand dust, drops, moisture and other external threats.

Apart from this, the devices are laced with facility to access Internet, push-to-talk technology, emails and calendars. Also, one can make use of call forwarding and voice mail facility with the help of these devices. Both the devices are dished up with dedicated battery support, offering 7 hours of talk time support and 170 hours of standby usage. The phones will be served by the Wireless Services Manager and the Network Services Manager to accommodate a number of facilities.

While EWP1000 weighs 5.11 oz, EWR2000 carries the weight of 5.26 oz. The two cell phones are individually installed with 2 inch of display. The devices will promise a durable design with cost-effective features for special segments of mobile users.
