Motorola has made an innovative attempt of launching MC55, the Enterprise Digital Assistants with treasure of features. Designed for business purposes, these devices works on Windows Mobile interface and support features like Wi-Fi and more. GPS is of course the highlight of these devices, which supports features like geo-fencing and fleet management.
QWERTY keyboard, QVGA touch screen IP54 certification for rugged designs are other notable features of these devices. The manufacturer has announced two models in this category, titled MC5590 and MC5574. Both these devices are made eligible to serve the business community by offering capabilities like GPS tracking and high-end communication facilities.
Motorola MC5590 offers features like WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity. Motorola MC5574 accommodates WAN in addition to WLAN and Bluetooth. While the first device is capable of facilitating hospital workers and others, the second one is good for those involved in delivery works and other field professions.
Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system support has been installed in both the devices. Another good feature is the availability of Marvell XScale PXA270 520 MHz processor in both the devices.
Other fascinating features of the devices announced in the category of Motorola MC55 are 1D laser scanner and 2D imager. Image capturing is made easy with availability of 2MP camera in both the devices. You can expect both these devices to be released anywhere in the 3rd quarter of the year.
