Microsoft Secret Pink Phones Appear in Brief
Microsoft has been secretly developing cell phones under the name of the project Pink. The Pinks have been in rumors for long time and the first time released screenshots of these devices on internet should be able to add to the curiosity of the people around the world. Though, the information one can extract out of these pictures is limited, one can still get impressed by them.
Turtle and Pure are the names given to the two devices being developed as the part of Pink project. One of the two devices certainly accommodates a touch screen, though it will be too early to guess the right name. Both Turtle and Pure are designed as slider phones, supported by full QWERTY keyboards.
The rumors have been talking about the Pick devices to be based upon Zune, the multimedia platform of Microsoft and by looking at these devices; one has the reasons to believe these speculations. It is also believed that these devices will feature different Zune services and will also have an application store for the same, though it can be a rumor as well.
Microsoft has partnered with Sharp, the Japanese manufacturer, to come up with Pink devices. Sharp is the renowned brand that has been known to manufacture Sidekick family of cell phone for Danger. As you might know, Danger was acquired by Microsoft only a couple of years back.
