HTC grabbed the opportunity during CTIA Wireless 2009 to announce its latest cell phone, the slim and smart HTC Snap. The cell phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and accommodates a full-QWERTY keyboard in its bar design. The slim body of 12 mm simply makes it an impressive device to watch out for.

The QVGA resolution display of 2.4 inch offers landscape view for the user. You can also spot a 2MP camera accommodated in this device. GSM and HSDPA network support is also a good to talk feature of this device. Micro SD memory card support is also included in this design.

Amongst the two versions of this cell phone, the US version will support 850/1900 MHz and will be released with the title of HTC S721. The EMEA version will support the frequency of 900/2100 MHz. A 528MHz Qualcomm MSM 7225 CPU is accommodated in the design to run it. Also, there is 192 MB of RAM added to this wonderful device.

GPS with A-GPS is another highlight of this device. You can also find Wi-Fi connectivity as one of the superlative features of this cell phone. The trackball also features in the list of good aspects of this device, which will help in menu navigation process. Finally, you can also find the support of Bluetooth in this device to complete the picture.

Prices have not been revealed for HTC Snap, which is expected to hit the stores somewhere in the summers.
