HTC Hero Waiting for US Carrier, While Touch Pro 2 Reveals Its Price
HTC certainly has more than enough reasons to be in the news. After announcing a number of Android based smart phones, the company has decided to launch the mid range smart phones. As for now, the two important HTC devices are making buzz in the US cell phone market for different reasons.
HTC Hero has already been released in European markets and now, it is the turn of US stores to accommodate this Android smart phone. However, no definite information has been revealed about the US carrier that will be the first one to launch this device in the market. AT&T and Sprint have already announced the Android devices that they would be bringing to the market. And T-Mobile has made it clear for not being serious for the launch of HTC Hero. So, the US cell phone buyers will have to wait to actually buy a Hero.
At the same time, HTC Touch Pro 2 has unveiled its price tag for the US market. The cell phone is available at a price tag of $349.99 with a two year contract via T-Mobile. However, for one year deal, the cell phone will cost $400. The improved Touch FLO3D interface and a number of business management features are among the highlights of this HTC device. QWERTY keypad, a 3.6 inch touch screen display, a 3.2 MP camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS are other good features of Touch Pro 2.
