HTC Celebrates the Sale of One Million Magic Devices
HTC has always been appreciated for selling highest number of Windows Mobile based cell phones in all parts of the world. US cell phone stores have always welcomed the availability of HTC devices, supported by Windows platform. HTC has also emerged as a winner at another warfront by offering cell phones with Google Android operating system. The latest success has been achieved by the cell phone by selling one million units of HTC Magic devices.
The cell phone was launched in April this year and it entered the US market in the month of August. So, you can imagine the acceptance of this magical phone in the market. The cell phone gave tough competition to Blackberry Curve as well as Apple’s iPhone to obtain this number. HTC Magic is similar to T-Mobile G1, the cell phone that was launched by HTC last year and one that received the award fro bestselling device this year. However, Magic lacks a QWERTY keyboard which was present in the G1.
Magic is a smart phone and the second device in the series of Android based devices. It has all great features that can be expected from an advanced device, capable of meeting the requirements of different types of users. Apart from Wi-Fi and GPS, the cell phone also features Bluetooth, 3G and HTML browser.
Apart from HTC, more and more manufacturers are participating in the race of Android based smart phones. HTC alone is willing to launch other Android based devices soon in the market.
