HTC Brings Leo and Mega, Also Working On Smart and Non-smart Devices

HTC has been one of the underdogs of 2009, which have managed to bear the hard-hitting period of recession. While most of the big players in cell manufacturing industry are still on the way to recover, HTC has been slowly and steadily spreading its popularity in the market.

The latest news from HTC is that the manufacturer is bringing two new devices named Leo and Mega to the market. Though, there is no proper specification list announced by the manufacturer, it is in the rumors that Leo is the same device that was announced as HTC Firestone in the beginning of the year. Expected to run on Windows Mobile 6.5 edition, HTC Leo might turn out to be a variant of very popular Touch Diamond from HTC. Even Mega will run on similar platform, but it is going to support mid-range functionalities.

HTC has been launching smart phones in the market and thus, another Android based smart phone is on the list of the company. Named as Click, the cell phone will lack the keyboard. Direction pad and button arrangement, borrowed from MyTouch, are going to be the parts of the design. The good news is that it is going to be an inexpensive device as compared to other Android devices from the company.

Interestingly, HTC is also in the process of designing its first non-smart cell phone. The device will run on the operating system developed by HTC itself. So, some interesting plans of the company are heading towards completion.
