Get Ready for the Verizon Blackberry Tour on July 12
RIM Blackberry announced a new entry in the brigade of smart phones a few weeks ago. The cell phone called Tour 9630 will be made available by Verizon Wireless from July 12 and its online booking procedure is already on. A price of $199.99 has been fixed for the device, along with a 2-year contract and $70 mail-in rebate.
Blackberry Tour is in news for offering world roaming facilities at a unique price package. The user will be able to take advantage of voice coverage in more than 220 countries around the world and internet access in 175 countries. Being supported by Verizon in United States, the cell phone will feature facilities like EV-DO network support and VZ Navigator, along with V Cast Music.
A 3.2 MP camera is one of the features of this device, though the manufacturer has also planned to release an additional version without camera support. HTML web browser, GPRS, UMTS and other network capabilities are also offered by this device. GPS support and Bluetooth connectivity adds length to the specification list of Blackberry Tour.
MMS, SMS, GMail, E-Mail, Google Talk, Yahoo! Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and Windows Live Messenger are supported by the cell phone that also carries a QWERTY keyboard to add convenience to its usage. Blackberry Tour is a stylish cell phone with glossy surfaces and great features. Another version of the device, that will carry the same price tag, will be released soon by Sprint.
