Depreciation in Quality of Wireless Calling From Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless has been enjoying the numero uno status as the mobile carrier service provider in the United States for past many years. However, if recent reports are to be believed, the leading cell phone carrier is slowly losing its shining position in some p0srts of the country.
It is hard to believe that Verizon Wireless, which has always been appreciated for quality of wireless calling service, is experiencing degradation in the same. However, reports from JD Power make its clear that service providers like AT&T and Sprint are constantly improving their call quality to come in direct competition with Verizon Wireless.
On the whole, the call quality in United States remain stable, but past few months have experienced some undesirable situations like call dropping, failures in voicemails and above all, the decline in call quality. The subscribers of Verizon Wireless have experienced more problems over all these months as compared to the customers of AT&T and Sprint. Also, Alltel is another service provider showing decline in all these services, as indicated by the reports.
AT&T has impressively shown improvement in the fields like voicemail delivery, voice distortion and call echoing. Similar statistics have been collected for Sprint. On the contrary, Verizon Wireless showed an increase of 1% in the number of disconnected calls. The problems are faced by customers of Verizon especially in the North Central region. Verizon still rules the industry, but the improvement of services offered by other mobile carriers can’t be overlooked.
