Cancer And Cell Phones- The Mysterious Connection!
Dr. Ronald .B. Herberman, the director of university of Pittsburg cancer institute made news when a memo was sent out to 3000 odd staff of the university urging them to try limiting the usage of cell phones (not just by them but by their children too) citing a disturbing link between brain cancer and cell phones.
In news interview the credible doctor suggests to err on the side of caution rather than being sorry for not have done it, later on (in tandem with the precautionary principle!). His advice to the children is clear- they shouldn’t use cell phones unless emergency, as it affects the most due to the fact that the brain’s not mature in them. Adults are advised by Dr. Herberman to use wireless phones or headsets as using the phone directly affects the brain to a much larger extent. The usage of cell phone should be banned in public places should be banned, he added. The maverick scientist of reputed caliber believes, and his unpublished research reportedly reveals that public usage of cell phones is a form of passive electromagnetic smoking!
Until a definite proof arrives on this much debated topic, it’s up to the users to make their own decisions.
