Blackberry Ready to Storm Again with Piezo Technology and Lot More
Blackberry Storm was a popular device and popularity inspired RIM to come up with the second version of the device. Though, the release date of Blackberry Storm is still behind the curtains, the manufacturer has yet again released two interesting videos to increase nothing but the curiosity among viewers.
Blackberry Storm was endowed with a new type of touch screen functionality that was never seen before. To go many steps ahead, the Blackberry Storm 2 will support yet another innovative touch screen display. Developed using the new Piezo Technology, the screen installed in the new device is much softer than one found in its predecessor. Moreover, the original Storm had a controversial screen, which acted like one huge button. But this time, the Storm 2 will provide multi-touch functionality through its screen. Imagine pressing on the screen, as if you are pressing on the keypad. It is indeed going to be welcomed in the industry.
Now about some other secrets revealed for Blackberry Storm 2! The device will be available in two different versions, named CDMA based 9550 and GSM based 9520. The CDMA version will be available through Verizon Wireless in the United States, while AT&T will be releasing the GSM version of Blackberry Storm 2. It is expected that the CDMA version will be the first one to make appearance somewhere in the month of September. However, nothing can be said about the prices for both the versions of new Storm.
