Baltimore to Witness the Launch of Sprint Xohm

Baltimore is going to witness the launch of Xohm WiMAX services next month, as officially announced by Sprint. The mobile carrier owns Xohm WiMAX location based services, which are proficient in adding advantage to broadband customers of the company.
October 8 has been chosen as the day to release the services at Bond Street Wharf Park of Baltimore. The prominent sponsors for the event will include biggies like Intel, Motorola, Nokia, ZTE, Samsung and ZyXEL. The event will be attended by all technology partners of the company as well as by location based service providers, working with Sprint.
Talking about company’s future plans, the company spokesman confirmed the launch of location based service sin other parts like Chicago and Washington, D.C. These location based services are meant to help network subscribers to customize the information. Sprint is on its way to sign partnerships with other companies to make its location-centric services available to masses and classes. The company has talked about its merger with Clearwire heading towards final stage.
