Two big news stories associated with AT&T have come into light. The first one is about the Sony Ericsson Vivaz which will be available for sale through AT&T from September 5. Vivaz is a Symbian powered handset with a 3.2 inch TFT touch screen and an 8 MP camera with LED flash and auto focus. Video recording of 720p, 3G HSDPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are other highlights of the phone.
The price of US $80 after 50 US dollars rebate and with a two year contract has been decided for the Sony Ericsson Vivaz. Also, the handset will be available in Galaxy Blue and Venus Ruby shades.
Another similar priced handset is Motorola Charm which is already on sale through T-Mobile. The handset too is available in two colors, Golden Bronze and Cabernet, and carries a price tag of US $75. Motorola Charm features a 2.8 inch TFT touch screen, QWERTY keyboard, expandable memory of up to 32 GB and a 3.16 MP camera. The Cell phone runs on Android version 2.1 and supports MOTOBLUR UI v1.5.
Coming back to AT&T news, the photos of the carrier’s upcoming HTC T8788 have leaked on the web. It is indeed exciting to know that like many other mobile OSes, Windows Phone 7 is going to join the AT&T family with this handset. The HTC device is a side-slider with a QWERTY keyboard. Do you know what the lower half of the slider contains? There is a speaker hidden inside, hinting HTC T8788 as a superlative multimedia device. Curiosity is certain to build around the device.
