AT&T to Release HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian in November
AT&T is going to release HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian, which has been making buzz on internet for a couple of months. The cell phone will arrive at the AT&T stores in the starting week of November this year. The specifications list for the cell phone was released in May and most of the features mentioned in that have been confirmed to be true.
HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian is a bar design, packed with full QWERTY keyboard and a touch-screen display. Though, the previously mentioned size of the display was 2.8 inch that has been changed to 2.46 inch in the latest news about the device. Also, the screen will be based upon AMOLED technology and will carry QVGA resolution.
Another deviation from the previously released specification list can be found in the form of camera resolution. The previously mentioned 2 MP resolution for the camera has now been replaced with 3.2 MP. A 528MHz CPU is present in the list of features for the device. Apart from that, 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM are some of the additional features mentioned for Obsidian.
The cell phone will have all good features to compete with other cell phones in the market. Built-in GPS and expandable micro SD card slot are the few to mention. Wi-Fi support is another feature worth mentioning here. Connectivity for the cell phone is supported by Bluetooth, USB port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Proximity sensor and light sensor will also be available in the device. No news about the price of Obsidian.
