AT&T has stretched its data plans for iPhone users having specific requirements of international roaming. In addition to existing 20 MB and 50 MB plans, the well-known mobile carrier has launched 100 MB and 200 MB international data plans, enhancing its grip in the market.

These plans are going to facilitate international usage for iPhone and other smart phone users in as many as 67 countries around the world. The main countries included in the list are Australia, Belgium, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, South Korea and UK amongst others. The monthly charges decided for these data plans are $119.99 for 100 MB and 199.99 for 200 MB.

With the launch of these international data plans, the iphone users will be capable of accessing more data at lower costs, as compared to pay-per-use roaming charges at international level. Thus, users traveling outside United States will be able to take advantage of these plans to stay connected with rest of the world. It is another gem in the crown of AT&T, which is appreciated for its facilities for mobile users having international travel requirements.

It is worth mentioning here that AT&T is the only mobile carrier, having expertise in providing international data access in as many as 120 countries and 120 prominent cruise trips. This includes web surfing, email usage, voice mail and other basic utilities. With wireless devices, including iPhone sets, offered by this mobile carrier, the wireless communication has been extended to far away international destinations.
