Nokia N97 was released nearly a month ago and now you are going to read about more than few updates being considered for the device. The bugs have been fixed and all the loopholes have been filled. So, now one can expect a whole new user experience with Nokia N97.

Ovi store client will be the new application installed in the device. A significant USB drawback has been improved. Now, the users will not be harassed with messages like PC doesn’t detect N97 and more.

Widget user interface has been corrected to remove a number of problems. Home screen online and offline widget crash and mixing of alphabetical and numeric inputs are some of the defects that have been fixed. Widget stability has also been improved in the new Nokia N97 firmware.

Loss of message and calendar entry was another problem previously faced by N97 users. However, these problems have been fixed, along with UI transition errors. Slow response from touch UI has also been fixed. Appearance of device lock picture on half of the screen is another problem that has found a fix.

Previously, the performance of the cell phone used to degrade with storage of lot of data, especially the photos. However, no such problem will be found in the updated device. AccuWeather is another feature that has been revived. A number of JAVA fixes and operator fixes have also been introduced.

One can avail the updated FOTA package or you can also install the updated firmware with the help of Nokia Software updater.
