Android Getting Adopted by All, Its INQ’s Turn after Motorola
Android has appeared in the market through various cell phone devices and it is good to know that the Google’s operating system platform is getting popular with all leading cell manufacturers. Though, it will take time for Android to gain popularity similar to iPhone, but the day doesn’t seem far away. Motorola has recently joined the brigade of Android based devices and now its INQ to follow the footprints.
It has not been a year that 3 INQ1 won the award for Best Mobile Handset or Device at the Global Mobile Awards. On the basis of its association with social networking trends, the cell phone was able to defeat biggies like Nokia E71 and T-Mobile G1. INQ has been utilizing its own operating system to deliver the capabilities similar to the smart phones. Now, the manufacturer is working on an Android based device to extend its reach to the customers, who wake up to expect more Android cell phones in the market.
Apart from this, the news about Motorola CLIQ, the first Android based device for US customers from the company, is also creating a buzz. To be known as Moto DEXT in other parts of the world, CLIQ accommodates a QWERTY keyboard, a 3.1 inch multi-touch screen display, Wi-Fi, GPS support, Bluetooth and many more exciting features. The 5MP camera has been installed to provide excellent video recording and geo-tagging.
Running on Android OS v1.5, CLIQ runs on Qualcomm MSM7201A platform and carries a space of up to 32 GB. MOTOBLUR is the new user interface for social networking sites, the company is going to introduce in its first Android device. The device will hit the US stores in December at the price of 400 US dollars and in colors like Midnight Titanium and Winter White.
