Sony Ericsson to Make Use of Windows Advantage in Xperia X1
Sony Ericsson, the mobile manufacturer known for its stylish mobile sets, has informed about its association with Windows developers and this will be displayed by its upcoming model Xperia X1.
The mobile set, which was announced in the first quarter of current year at Mobile World Congress, has been unexpectedly delayed due to some undefined reasons. But now, the wait is expected to get over in last quarter of the year, as product witnesses its introduction in the market.
The smart phone features will be fabricated using a customized software development kit (SDK), to be developed by Windows developers. The spokesperson from Sony informed that it is an attempt to use the available software development tools, rather than devising new ones.
The SDK used for developing applications for Xperia X1 is found to support different platforms like HTML, CSS, C and C++. The main platform for this SDK is Visual Studio, which will make it easy fir Windrows developers to work in a familiar environment.
Talking about the mobile set, Xperia X1 will support slider form factor, with features like touch screen and 3-inch display. The mobile set will be endowed with most competent technologies like HSPA and Wi-Fi. Also, Assisted Global Positioning System will be an added advantage.
Those, who have waited for this mobile set to mark its presence in the market, will soon be able to find it at a nearest store. All we need to wait is for the price tagged by Sony Ericsson on this new offering.
