VK Mobile

VK Mobile (acronym is Viable Korea) is a South Korean company which is specialized for manufacturing the mobile phone terminals. The VK Mobile is established in 2001. In the year of 1997 the VK Mobile company was established for manufacturing Lithium ion polymer batteries for Cell Phones, later the production of batteries was taken place in the year of 2000 and mobile phones in 2001. The main aims of the company are to bring Innovation into the world's most demanding corporate area as well as to strengthen their competitiveness. In the year of 2000 it got the patent for "Lithium Polymer Battery System" and "Carbon ingredients for batteries".

VK Mobile company mainly using the CDMA and PCS. It released the VK200c using the CDMA technology which is a "Mega-pixel Slide Phone", this phone is awarded with the Grand Prix for the "Fifty Rapidly Developed Companies". In the year 2005 the company produced the First GSM/GPRS Baseband Chip set and first quad-band phone (VK1000) with its own chip set.

The VK Mobile company's vision is JUMP J- just on time , U- uppermost quality, M- morale base, P- productivity. The company's main goal is user satisfaction for product quality and advanced technology. The model VK2200 is the “best all-round handset”, It included a 4Mpix CCD camera. VK 2000 is a 8.8mm super slim mobile phone which includes built in Mp3 player and camera. This phone got the prestigious Red Dot Design Award from Germany in 2006. This phone is related to 2.75 generation EDGE technology, whose transfer rate is three times faster than GPRS cell phones. This phone also included the WAP 1.2.1, MMS and GPRS.

VK2000 is a slim bar mobile phone with 4 mega pixel camera, MPEG4 video, messaging and USB port.
VK 4000 is also a Quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 phone with bulit in VGA, 640 x 480 pixels camera and an MP3 player.
VK 5000 is a sleek and exclusive mobile phone with 1.3 mega pixel camera, a MP3 player, GPRS, WAP Browser, Bluetooth and USB.

In 2002 the company got the President of Han Kook Ilbo Award in the Digital Innovation Awards sponsored by Han Kook Ilbo, Winner of Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy Award. The Electronics and Telecommunication Institute selected the VK Mobile company as the execution company for next-generation fundamental technology development project in 2003. The company won the Export Tower Award in 2005.
