SureWest
The SureWest and its family of companies act an integrated network of highly authentic promoted communications products and services. SureWest provides PCS wireless, fiber optics, digital cable TV, DSL, high-speed Internet access, data transport, local and long distance telephone service, and directories with the mellowest standards of customer care. Intended for businesses with between two and 64 telephone users per location, TalkSwitch telephone systems are hybrid IP PBXs and provide connections to both traditional and IP networks. Each local extension on a TalkSwitch system can be configured as either analog or IP.
The Telecom section admitted the procedures of SureWest Telephone, SureWest Directories and SureWest Long Distance, which provided landline telecommunications services, digital subscriber line (DSL) services, directory advertising avails, long-distance services and certain related non-regulated services. SureWest provides options for listening impaired and disabled clients. Text Telephones (TTY) and TTY & Voice Cell Phones and services are available. TTY only means that a telephone is answered only by a Telecommunications Device for the indifferent, and communications can only be made with another TTY. The TTY and Voice means that both users and non TTY users can communicate over the line. For these clients, SureWest provides equipment service, operator aid or, in some cases, special aid or grants for service, California relay service and directory listings for TTY users.
The Telecom segment included the operations of SureWest Telephone, SureWest Directories and SureWest Long Distance, which provided landline telecommunications services, digital subscriber line (DSL) services, directory advertising services, long-distance services and certain related non-regulated services. The Wireless segment consists of the Company's subsidiary, SureWest Wireless, which was formed for the purpose of providing wireless personal communications services (PCS). SureWest Wireless derives its revenue from the provision of wireless PCS, and the sale of handsets and related communications equipment. In addition, SureWest Wireless generates revenue from long-distance calls, roaming service, custom calling and other features.
The Broadband section also admits a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC), which has been cleared to supply telecommunications services in areas outside the telephone service area of SureWest Telephone. The Broadband section provides several avails to residential, business and carrier clients. SureWest Broadband Services have cable television licenses in Sacramento and Placer counties, the cities of Roseville and Lincoln, California, and has elaborated its services to previously licensed areas of Elk Grove and Natomas, California, as well as other areas within its service area footprint.

- SureWest Communications is parent to the largest incumbent local exchange carrier (ILEC) headquartered in California, SureWest Telephone.
- SureWest has the largest number of fiber-to-the-home connections in the United States with over 20,000 customers in the Sacramento/Roseville corridor.
- SureWest Telephone has one of the highest residential DSL penetration rates in the country at over 30 percent.
- SureWest Telephone is capable of providing DSL service to 100 percent of its service area.
