Sony Ericsson W508a Cell Phones
There’s a news guys! Sony Ericsson’s got yet another cell phone on the platter- W508a it is! With W508a, Sony Ericsson has just consolidated its position in the ‘music’ segment.
Now, this Sony Ericsson W508a phone has pocketed almost every single feature of its predecessors. Walkman features like Sensme, Bluetooth with A2DP, a 3.2 mega pixel camera with a 3.2x digital zoom (could have been better), email, instant messaging etc. It supports HSDPA 850/1900/2100 along with EDGE 850/900/1800/1900. But what’s new in this phone?
Basically, you got three new goodies- The shake and gesture control, the trackID and an extra cover up. The shake and gesture control is like a dream come true for all you lazy bugs out there. Just a bit of hand movement to change to the next song or maybe to set off that buzzing alarm! Or a simple shake to set the shuffle function! The control of your cell phone is no more merely by those tiny buttons on it. Coming to the next new feature, it’s the trackID. TrackID is a text search which can be used to search songs. It’s a kind of a feature which may be useful rarely, but the music freak in you may find good company with it regularly. The extra style cover up too is more into fancy, however, since ‘showing off’ is a fad these days it may surely be a consideration for some buyers.
It’s also got Playnow Arena-downloadable ‘cool’ wallpapers, ringtones etc as one of its highlighting feature. This GSM phone isn’t wi-fi enabled and touch screen too doesn’t fit in here.
