Sony Ericsson C510a Cell Phones
The Sony Ericsson C510a was launched not long back, along with Sony’s W508a walkman phone. Probably, that was a deliberate attempt of Sony to display its diversity and its strong hold on both the segments-music phones and camera phones! Guess what? Their attempt is worth applause.
This camera phone isn’t a hefty blow on your pocket. It’s an affordable camera phone and luckily it does not leave you down on quality. The C510a is a cyber shot mobile camera for you. In fact, that’s how it’s marketed by Sony Ericsson. The phone comes with a TFT display and supports quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri band 3G. FM with RDS, 100 MB internal memory, macro media support etc is few of its other noteworthy features. But wait! The ‘cool’ stuff of the camera is left to be spoken about.
The 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto-focus can detect a ‘smile’ and can capture the photo instantly and not to mention, automatically. It can focus up to three faces in a particular time. The face detection feature is another asset of this cell phone. It automatically focuses on people! The cell phone has an in-built accelerometer (something similar to what IPOD nano sports), so the photo you are viewing rotates as you rotate the mobile from horizontal to vertical or vice-versa. The automatic adjustment of light facilitates for pleasant viewing (especially when the lighting is poor in the snap).
The phone’s good. But just one complaint! Why not integrate the features of camera phone with the music one? Coz anyhow even the music phone boasts of a 3.2 MP camera. Or else, why not a camera phone with more mega pixels (although we know that more MP’s doesn’t necessarily mean great photography!) and some more features!
