Nokia N800 Cell Phones
The Nokia N800 Internet Tablet, as the name says it, is an Internet focused phone. It is not a smart phone or a PDA, but an Internet tablet meant for browsing on-the- go. Nokia N800 has a wide screen with a display that supports 65,000 colours making the images and text bright and sharp. Nokia N800 has a touch screen that makes it easier to operate even with your fingertips or the stylus that comes with the phone.
The Nokia N800 Phone has amazing web browsing features with a few upgrades from the previous models. Sleeker and travel-friendly, it has an outstanding web browser that employs Opera 8 with support for plug-ins, Flash 7 and Javascript. Though it is limited in the connectivity options you have to connect to the Internet- either Wi-Fi, integrated with the handset or Blue-tooth to pair your phone with a compatible one.
The dual expansion slots in the phone appeal to most reviewers. Though the location of the cards is not very strategic, they can be upgraded up to 2GB. Though it is not a phone, it supports calls made through VoIP. This Nokia phone also comes with a cool built-in webcam to make videos calls from.
The N800 has a media player that’s not very advanced but functional. It supports a range of music and video format files like MP3, AAC, AMR, AVI, 3GP, WAV, MPEG-4 and RealAudio. Additional features of these Cell Phones include an RSS newsreader and instant messaging.
