Nokia N70 Cell Phones
Part of the very popular Nokia NSeries the Nokia N70 is a stylish 3G Smart phone. The Nokia N70 has everything in it that a modern phone should have: smart phone features, 3G connectivity, very good imaging capabilities and an elegant design. The silver coloured casing has a smooth finish and the keypad is well positioned and very user friendly. The Nokia N70 model which has the capability of running 3D Games, play FM Radio and MP3 music files comes with a display of about 2.2 inches big which is bright. The wireless service was tested with Orange in France and Cingular in the US. In either of the cases the reception was excellent, so was the quality of sound in emission and reception.
The Nokia N70 is smaller than the first generation 3G phones and it looks similar to the popular and successful model Nokia 6680.
The camera just looks good as the 2 megapixel camera on the Sony Ericsson K750i or W900i. On the upper-right of the screen there is a small camera for video calls and on the back, there is a second camera that can be activated by sliding the cover which is pretty cleverely designed. On the display the camera is simply great with 256k colors and bright active matrix display, which is reasonably better than most cameras. In dark conditions the Nokia N70 works better than most of the Cell Phones. However, the portability and dual phone/camera use of the N70 makes photo snapping very useful. On the side, a memory card slot lets users add memory as needed. Nokia has included a useful feature called XpressPrint which helps the users to connect to
a compatible printer with either the USB cable or a Bluetooth
connection and print their photos using a PC. A photo blogging feature which is similar to the Sony Ericsson K800i allows the users to upload their photos directly into their blog, for their friends and family to
view.
As well as standard MMS and SMS messaging the Nokia N70 has a good internet connection and the browser renders sites very well on the large screen. The Cell Phones internal software looks pretty good and stable. The Nokia N70 which was synchronized with Outlook via Bluetooth (BT) works like a charm. Unlike Windows Mobile or Palm OS, it did not suffer of any crash, slowdown or plain freeze. The embedded applications were good enough to let the customer do anything that he needed to, without having to install any additional software.
The Nokia N70 is definitely a stylish designed, high-end smart phone which is highly capable for faster data access. The low-intensity email and texting and Imaging features are above most phones. On the Whole Nokia N70 model can be defined as a smart (imaging) phone trapped in the shell of a candy bar cellphone.
