Nokia 7260 Cell Phones
The Art Deco inspired design of the Nokia 7260 comes with a coordinated carrying pouch and strap, revealing Nokia's intention to make this phone a fashion item. Nokia 7260 is a beautiful phone to look at, with its curved edges, high gloss finish and contrasting silvery highlights and practical too. A youth phone Nokia 3220 is different only in the absence of the radio and the device is similar in functions with Nokia7260. The 65k colour display is bright and clear and the camera is VGA standard (640 x 480 pixels). The integrated video recorder and FM radio are welcome additions. Overall, a good mid-range phone packaged in an unusual and distinctive design, that is slim, lightweight and practical. Nokia 7260 will appeal to those wanting something a little different and exclusive.
The Nokia 7260 is certainly a pretty handset - although in user opinion the black edition is far better looking than the white, which was made available to infosync World. A candybar handset, the 7260 looks sleek but is not exceedingly small at 105 x 45 x 18 mm and 92 g. Just below a fairly run-of-the-mill display Nokia find an unusual-looking keypad, which greatly contributes to its unique design. Despite looking odd, it is - as with Nokia's 7610 smartphone - very pleasant to use, featuring excellent tactile feedback and a short adaptation curve. It's all about the glamour and glitz as Editor-in-Chief Jorgen Sundgot offers up a first take on the 7260.
Nokia 7260 phone having a red backlight for the keypad scatters a bit too easily under daylight conditions, however works surprisingly well when dark. The 7260 is very much a Series 40 handset - a proprietary platform utilized by Nokia for 'ordinary' mobile phones. This has been themed to fit in with the overall design of the phone and is as responsive and snappy as ever. The 7260 also comes equipped with a standard-fare 0.3 Megapixel camera which appears to yield results that are fully on par with otherwise excellent Nokia Cell Phones and as an added bonus users will also find an integrated FM radio and a voice recorder.
The Nokia 7620 is bold, confident and sleekly flamboyant with its silvery art deco highlights - a true reflection of distinctive character. In the quality of the screen the Nokia 7260 is similar to Nokia 6230. It's hard too glean much info, but it does look like it'll at least sport a 128 x 128 pixel LCD screen and be a tri-band GSM/GPRS phone that's also compatible with those new high-speed EDGE data networks. The 7260 handset has GPRS so it is convenient 'always on' browsing and HSCSD and EGPRS for high-speed data connectivity. It has content protection by Digital Rights Management and Tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 network coverage.
