The Nokia 6101 measures 85 x 45 x 24 mm and weighs 97 gm. The Nokia 6101 supports tri-band GSM networks (GSM 850/1800/1900 and 900/1800/1900) with automatic switching between the bands. This series 40 phone has two color watching screens. The active TFT display is the main display of Nokia 6101 and supports up to 65k colors while the smaller outer display supports up to 4,096 colors (96 x 65 pixels). Nokia 6101's keypad has a 5way navigation key including select key with configurable right and left soft keys.
Nokia 6101's VGA gives the resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. As with most dual screen camera phones giving, the large internal display can be used for the small external display for self-portraits and to take normal pictures. Nokia 6101's camera features Night, Portrait and Standard mode with three image-quality options namely normal, high and basic. The phone also features an FM stereo radio.
