Nokia 2630 Cell Phones
In this day and age where 3G phones are ruling the roost, it is but natural to assume that 2G cell phones have fallen out of favor. This may be true. However, 2G phones continue to be in great demand among those groups that either cannot afford the more expensive 3G versions or prefer to hold on to the more basic cell phones that are on offer in local mobile phone showrooms. These two categories of mobile phone users have much to choose from by way of 2G mobile phones and the Nokia 2630 is an example of the same.
This dual band GSM phone works across GSM 850 and 900 in the United States, and ever since it was announced in the middle of 2007, there has arisen a good deal of demand for the same. The Nokia 2630 measures 105 mm in length, 45 mm in width, and 9.9 mm in depth. At a weight of 66 grams, there is no question that the Nokia 2630 is one of the cheaper Cell Phones in the marketplace today.

If you are tired of call records that store only five to ten entries, you will be pleased to note that the Nokia 2630 maintains recent call lists of 20 numbers for dialed, received, and missed calls. Plus, you can put your phone on vibration mode if you do not want it to ring out loud but want to be aware of when you do get a call. The phone may not have 3G capabilities, but it does have EDGE Class 6 to facilitate data transfer at 177.6 kbps. The phone also has GPRS Class 10 support and Bluetooth version 2.0 compatibility.
If connectivity is what you are after, the Nokia 2630 Phone also has USB connectivity. There is a WAP 2.0 or xHTML browser which provides a rich Internet experience. Keep in touch via Email, IM, SMS, and MMS. Talk for hours (up to 6 hours of talk time) using the built-in hands-free feature.
