Nokia 2135 Cell Phones
The Nokia 2135 somehow seems that in this age of smartphones that promise to carry out a wide range of functions, entry-level mobile phones have fallen by the wayside. However, this need not be the case. The ad campaigns by top mobile manufacturing companies may be busy covering (and popularizing) their more expensive mobile phones. But this does not mean that the basic mobile phone that does not act like a do-it-all device is necessarily unpopular. On the contrary, there continues to be high demand for phones that keep it simple and make no bones about it.
The Nokia 2135 is a case in point. Do not check out this phone if you are looking for something that is really fancy. The Nokia 2135 is not going to help you make a strong style statement. However, it looks good in an understated way and is an economical option for the cash-strapped mobile phone buyer who is not interested in shelling out unnecessary dollars to buy a communications device.
The best thing about the Nokia 2135 is its battery. You can actually hold three and a half hour conversations without worrying that your phone will die out before that. Of course, make sure that you have fully charged your Nokia 2135 before you commence such a marathon conversation. You can keep your phone on standby for as many as 11 days at a stretch. The Lilon battery that has been fitted on to the phone is certainly a good one.
The Nokia 2135 is yet another candy bar phone with an internal antenna. The well-spaced numeric keypad allows you to type out long messages without any trouble at all. The OLED display is a full-color one. In fact, it supports as many as 65k colors and has a resolution of 96 x 65 pixels which is decent for a mobile phone in this range.
The phone book allows you to store the details of as many as 400 contacts. So you need not worry that you will run out of space anytime soon. Under each contact you can have up to 5 separate entries. The 2 MB of built-in memory is sufficient for a phone with the capabilities of the Nokia 2135. If you are a user, you will not be complaining that the storage space is too little.
These Cell Phones supports GPS and includes BREW (version 3.1.4) software for ringtones and wallpapers. There are two preloaded games to entertain you when you have a moment or two to spare.
One great thing about the Nokia 2135 is that it is hearing aid compatible. Plus, you can switch the phone to either English or Spanish depending on which language you are more comfortable with. The Nokia 2135 does not have the T9 predictive text entry format. But you should be able to get used to the eZiText technology that the Nokia 2135 Phone uses. If you want to go hands-free while chatting on this phone, you can fit your regular headsets into the 2.5 mm jack. Alternatively, you can switch on the speakerphone. Overall, the Nokia 2135 is a good mobile phone to carry around.
