In terms of design, it is heavier than the Motorola earlier models, weighing 3.9 ounces with a thickness of 1.1 inches. The rubber finishing is elegant but not full proof against water and rash surfaces unlike the i580 model. The external screen is below excellence with screen door effect hampering the internal color display. V365 comes with a 4x zoom flash VGA camera. The video work is commendable. The picture resolutions offered are 160x120, 320x240, and 640x480 with dark lightning effects. Other features of these Cell Phones include adaptable brightness control, six lightning effects, five shutter sounds and an autotimer. A memory card is suggested, as the internal memory is just 5 MB.

The call quality is average but the messaging performance is superb. The 24-chord speaker of this Motorola phone is of very good quality with full-duplex support.
