Motorola E815 Cell Phones
The Motorola E815 has it all in a large clamshell handset with a low price tag. The Motorola E815 delivers premium wireless broadband connectivity via EV-DO network with Video-On-Demand capability, a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash, a brilliant color screen, a vivid inner display, Bluetooth wireless technology, fast downloading, optional storage via a TransFlash Memory card Slot, speaker independent name and digit dialing and advanced messaging. The E815 phone looks small and slender compared with the other 3G Cell Phones.
The Motorola E815 phone is the successor to the Motorola V710 and like its predecessor, it is a premium mobile phone which shares a large number of similar features including 1.3 megapixel camera with LED flash, 4x digital zoom, video clips up to 3 minutes, video capture and playback, Integrated stereo MP3 player, self-portrait capability, 40 MB of internal flash memory and GPS Localization.
The Motorola E815 uses Motorola's standard user interface which features large icons and easy to read text. The mobile's understated gray and silver finish is attractive and business-like, with pleasing curves that both look and feel good. The TransFlash card slot is located up top as is the 2.5mm stereo headphone jack. The volume rocker is on the phone's right side and the camera and voice recognition buttons are on the opposite side. The Motorola Motorola E815 phone's silver, beveled keypad looks great and comes with a five-way navigational control, a menu button, a separate camera button, a Clear key, and the Talk and End keys. The numbers on the keys are black which contrasts well with the light silver background.
The Motorola E815 offers a good selection of high end features such as a full duplex speaker phone, Voice Signal's excellent speaker independent voice dialing, picture caller ID, 1,000-entry contact book and speed dialing. There is also text(SMS) and multimedia messaging(MMS), a calculator, an alarm clock, a WAP 2.0 wireless Web browser, a calendar with month and week views and a slot for a TransFlash card up to 256MB. The E815 supports both headset and hands free profiles for Bluetooth headsets and car kits. The E815 does have good battery life, a nice screen and other features that make it a solid choice for both casual users and long-winded talkers.
