Kyocera Lingo Cell Phones
The Kyocera Lingo has been developed as being an improved version of the Kyocera Strobe. Measuring 3.94" x 1.97" x 0.79", the Kyocera Lingo is slimmer and significantly lighter than its predecessor. Plus, the VGA camera of the days of yore has finally been replaced by a 1.3 megapixel camera which promises a far better picture quality than earlier Kyocera Cell Phones were able to offer.
At a passing glance, the Kyocera Lingo (also known as the Kyocera M1000) appears to be a basic clamshell phone. However, there is a surprise waiting there for you. The Kyocera phone opens up on its horizontal side and you are left looking at a mini computer-like device which boasts of a QWERTY keyboard. The QWERTY keyboard is a godsend for people who tend to spend their entire day typing out messages on the regular numeric keypad that tends to slow them down.
The Lingo has a number of other features as well that are bound to appeal to a wide range of users. If you are looking for connectivity, the Kyocera Lingo has Bluetooth to offer. Plus, recognizing the popularity of speakerphones, the Kyocera Lingo has also been fitted with one. It is also a plus that this phone offers a voice dialing feature.
On the downside, the Kyocera Lingo Mobile does not boast of a great battery life. If you tend to talk into your phone a lot, you are going to have to keep a watch on that battery. However, on the whole, this is a good, solid phone that lives up to its promises.
